An online guest lecture was organized by the Department of English, Lal
Bahadur Shastri College, Satara. The session started
with greetings from Head Department of English, Dr. P.P.Lohar and P.G.
coordinator Dr. Rathod R.B .
Resource Person Dr.
Vishnu Chavan Asst.
Professor Department of English, Tywade College Koradi Nagpur delivered a
discourse on the topic “Feminism in Postmodern Indian Fiction”. He delivered an
enriching lecture on the prominent Postmodern literary personalities, novelists, playwrights
and poets and also gave, in brief, a chronological representation of History of
English Literature. The lecture ended with an interactive session with the
students. The lecture was attended by 36 students and 8
Faculty members of English Department the session which went on for two hours
and it was an interactive session. The
lecture was in online mode through Google meet. The vote of thanks was given by
Mr.S.A.Kamble presented a small token of
appreciation to our valuable guests. Mr. Shelar S.S. attended the session along
with students of P.G.& U.G Department of English.
