Dr. Bapuji Salunkhe English Literary Association

Dr Bapuji Salunkhe English Literary Association ( BSELA )works under the Department of English.

Establishment: 8th Aug. 1984
In 1984, BSELA was inaugurated by Dr. Sunanda Chavan, then Head, Department of English, Chh.Shivaji College Satara.

Objectives:

The purpose of the Association is to organize various student-centered activities throughout the academic year like welcome to BA part I, farewell to BA part III, wallpaper inauguration, the inauguration of BSELA, guest lecture, felicitation, different competition, trip, screenplays, etc.

Members:

Teachers of the department and all students of Optional English and special English subject are the members of this Association. The total number of members is 87 in this academic year. The head of the department is the chairman of the association.
Contribution:
The student member contributes Rs 30 per head and the teacher member contributes Rs 100.
