Science Day Celebration on 1 March 2021

Department of English Report Science Day Celebration The department of English is known for its innovative practices. So far the Science Day is celebrated by the science faculty of the college. Therefore there was least participation by the students’ of Arts and Commerce. So the department decided to start celebrating National Science Day i.e. 28 feb each year. In the academic year 2020-21, the department organized it on 1st March 2021 on Zoom platform. Dr N. L. Tarwal, young scientist award-winner and Assistant professor, Department of Physics, Shivaji University, Kolhapur was invited to deliver a speech on ‘Science Fiction and Literature’. All teachers and 56 students participated in the event. Dr P. P. Lohar explained the purpose of the organization in his introduction. Principal Dr R V Shejawal gave the presidential speech and Dr R B Rathod said vote of thanks.
